My goal is to provide information on
motorcycle touring based on my experiences and to act as a guide down Thunder
Highway.
I
started selling motorcycle tires to motorcycle dealers 25 years ago and then
one year later I opened a small motorcycle shop, I’m now retired; I was never
trained to be a writer or to interview people, especially people who are
legends in their field.
Try
to understand this and cut me some slack if you find things are not up to the
standards of the Professional Motorcycle Magazines and Motorcycle Websites.
For
each article I do for this website I’m paid one Newfy (Newfoundland) steak
sandwich (otherwise known as a thick sliced baloney sandwich), I can either eat
the sandwich or give it away to a stray dog, that’s my choice.
I
like to write stories my way, hopefully there are people who like my Back Yard
Motorcycle Mechanic way of writing about events that take place along Thunder
Highway.
